I am very particular as to who I let take care of my furry child, and therefore did a lot of research before I even looked for a dog to adopt. Once I talked to you on the phone, I was very comfortable in starting my search. I love the care that is taken with Jack, so I can be away without worry. I love that if I call, I get a prompt response. I love the contact that I get from Phil when he is with Jack. What a lifesaver- I had ankle surgery and can’t walk my crazy Thurber who much needs his walks. Erik comes every morning, rain/snow/ice/whatever and gives Thurber the energy outlet he needs. I am more than satisfied with the services that I have recieved from Doggie Latchkey over the past year. I have 3 senior pets, a boston terrier, Madeline, and two rescue cats, Nieko and Savannah.
Doggie Latchkey came into my life when my current pet service which I had used for years was not working out. Needless to say, I was very apprehensive about entrusting the well being of my beloved pets to someone new. After some research, I contacted Doggie Latchkey.
I honestly could not be more happy. I know that my pets are in excellent hands when I am working long hours are unable to be with them . My boston is 15 years old and recently had a medical emergency. Suzanne, our primary caretaker from Doggie Latchkey did not hesitate to take control of the situation and do all the right things. She went above and beyond to make sure that Madeline was safe.

I could not possibly be more thrilled with Doggie Latchkey. They provide great care and are the most responsive team I can think of. Whether it’s needing a last minute walk for a late night at the office or much needed dinner out, Denise always comes through. I’ve used both the walking services and training services since my puppy Pepper was 3 months old and I rave about both: the trainer, Jen, has already managed to mellow out my dog in only a few sessions (we still have a ways to go, but I’m amazed!) and our regular walker, Stacy, gives great updates on Pepper’s progress and reinforces all of Jen’s great lessons. I feel like I have the ultimate dog swat team!

After three weeks in a new home, we had to make a last minute trip out of state. Our dogs were still adjusting to their new surroundings and we didn’t want to board them and send them to another new place. Doggie Latchkey was the perfect fit. Jennifer was absolutely wonderful! She kept us completely informed about our dogs through text messages and pictures! Our spoiled babies always sleep with us and Jennifer let them sleep with her even lifting our arthritic, 16 year old cocker spaniel on the bed since he’s unable to jump up on the bed anymore. We have always used family and neighbors to care for our dogs while we were gone, I feel our dogs were much happier and more comfortable with Jennifer taking care of them. We had Jennifer come out for the meet and greet and had a very nice visit. Despite the size of our 9 month old Great Dane puppy, Jennifer wasn’t nervous or overly confident. She was very relaxed and Kona was very accepting of her! In fact, Kona immediately started bring her toys to Jennifer and tried to climb up in her lap! Jennifer was very good about note taking and going over the paperwork for her upcoming visit. The reason we needed a sitter was because we were getting married and all of our usual family sitters, were obviously going to be busy. We wanted to be sure that we had someone we trusted to stay at home with her and keep her comfortable in her own surroundings.
Our minds were completely at ease the day of the wedding…well, as far as the pup went!
We could tell that she had been well played with because she was pretty tuckered out, although happy, when we got home the day after!
Jennifer was VERY accomodating to our situation and needs, as well as Kona’s needs. We will be using Doggie Latchkey and specifically Jennifer, anytime that we are in need of a sitter or extra walk, etc.!!
